When creating entries into a library (material, codes, …) it can be very handy to have the option to duplicate/copy an existing entry. That way for example the Measurement is already OK. Maybe even the name and description are pre-filled so that only small adaptation is needed.

For example when creating separate codes for each material thickness there is only a very small variation between every entry.

Thanks Johan, this is a good one. Duplicating an existing entry and starting from its name, description and measurement would save a lot of time when you only need a small variation. We have added it to our list, but we have no date yet. Components already have a Duplicate option for variants, see [Components / component editor](https://community.qonic.com/t/components-component-editor/360) , and we are looking at how that idea fits general library items.
