It is only a minor thing, not stopping us from using Qonic in any way.
When we invite external members, every one of them can enter their company name by themselves. And rarely anyone spells it in exactly the same way as their colleagues … (for example for us it could be “IBS”, “IBS Bouw”, “IBS nv” and so on).
Currently it only makes the members overview a bit cluttered. But if in the future certain rights or topics assignment would be done on company level instead of individual person, then it becomes problematic.
Most other software I have worked with lets the project admin (who sends the invites) enter a company name. That makes it much more logical to use the same name/spelling for all people.
And in case of external consultants (for example modeller/coordinator/…) they can be placed in a different ‘company’ on every project.
