In many places in the UI, we have to use the mouse to click somewhere to confirm an action. For example when making a section. But also if I’m not mistaken some things in the dashboard that are more “table” like views.
Please enable the enter/return action of the keyboard to confirm the default action. And allow tab to go shift “focus cell” to make it possible to do more with the keyboard instead of mouse actions.
Also for example when opening a model and the pop-up comes for “browser or desktop”, this is a typical “OK/Cancel” type of dialog where enter should confirm the default action and tab should be allowed to switch to the other option.
Different topic, though related because it is also a UI thing and it annoys me in the same way:
Often when activating a certain ‘command’ that allows for textual input, the “focus” is not on the text box.
For example when wanting to replace an attribute value like Class/Location/Material from the Inspect panel.
In this screen capture you first see me starting to type without ‘activating’ the text field which means I have to start all over again. Second try I remembered to click the text box first.
To me this is a very annoying additional action. And one that I’ll often forget, resulting in having to redo the action. Apart from the time lost, it is simply frustrating.
