For multiple of our current projects we receive steel construction models as STEP. Using Rhino, I convert them so that I can import the Rhino model into Qonic.
Then I have to do some rotation and translation to align the model and coordinate.
When I have to do this multiple times in a week because of model revisions, it becomes very time consuming. So it would be interesting to have the possibility to record a set of actions (in this case multiple times the move command) and repeat them on the new revision easily.
The same can also happen on IFC models, depending on the supplier and how proficient they are in getting the model exported on the correct origin. Which unfortunately isn’t yet a skill everyone posesses.
