Currently, model revisions from an RVT model are only supported when using the Revit add-in. I would like it to also work when uploading the model to Qonic.
Reasons:
- Not all users have Revit => they like to upload the RVT to Qonic. But they also need access to revisions
- We sometimes get RVT export from Inventor. Those are not really native RVT files so I don’t know if the add-in would even work (specifically to make revisions to existing model)
My current workaround: upload the revised RVT as a new model, export IFC then upload that IFC as a revision. If this could be automated, I think we are pretty much there
