This month, we’re putting the spotlight on continuous improvement.
Alongside fifteen customer-requested improvements, we’ve refreshed the sample project to make it easier than ever to explore Qonic, added support for Revit 2027, and introduced an important workflow enhancement for teams working with multiple models.

1. Refreshed Sample Project
We’ve completely refreshed the sample project to help you get started faster and explore Qonic’s core workflows in one place.
The updated sample project now includes:

Whether you’re new to Qonic or returning after some time away, it’s the fastest way to discover everything Qonic can do today.
2. Revit 2027 Support
Qonic now supports Revit 2027.
We continue to support Revit 2023 through 2027, allowing teams to collaborate regardless of which Revit version they’re using.
Workflow Improvements
Preserve GUIDs when moving objects between models
One of this month’s improvements came directly from customer feedback.
Many teams create sub-models by moving objects between models for coordination, discipline separation or collaboration. Previously, moving an object generated a new GUID, breaking the continuity of downstream workflows.
Objects now retain their original GUID when moved between models, making it much easier to create and manage sub-models while preserving object identity throughout the project lifecycle.
Your feedback continues to shape the platform, and we’re grateful to everyone who shares ideas, reports issues and helps us improve Qonic.
Core Stability
Modelling & Geometry
- Connect Layers now works correctly on curved walls.
- Fixed coplanar face issues when adding layers.
- Improved handling of standalone windows during move operations.
- Fixed opening information for standalone windows.
Revit & IFC
- Fixed the import of modified parameters from Qonic.
- IFC updates now correctly adopt the units of the imported model.
- Fixed an issue where invisible geometry could be removed from Revit.
Reports & Drawings
- Added drawing mapping table settings.
- Added a loading skeleton for newly created sample projects.
- Fixed opening report models from compare URLs with consecutive model IDs.
- Fixed whitespace in multi-model report images.
- The Update Reports button is now correctly hidden for Project Members.
Filtering & Input
- Fractional feet inputs now work correctly.
- Filtering now works correctly in hierarchical groups.
- Property range filters now include boundary values.
- Single-word searches now correctly match multi-word category names.
- Slice input now respects the selected parameter type.
Inspect & Display
- Products now highlight immediately when clicking in Inspect.
- Child counts are displayed correctly when a parent contains only one child type.
- Improved the transition between opaque and transparent materials.
- Fixed alignment of favourite view numbers.
Platform
- Improved model selection and action logic.
- Fixed library overview page controls.
- Property library actions are now shown only to users with the correct permissions.
- Improved organisation switching.
- Fixed local display language selection.
- Refined the Command Center autocomplete styling.
- Various stability, workflow and security improvements across the platform.
We’re also making significant progress on larger developments behind the scenes. While they’re not ready to share just yet, you’ll be hearing much more about them in the coming months.
